The video covers all the tips and tricks to make a chocolatey, moist, fluffy chocolate cake that is eggless and can be made in a vegan version too! It is topped with a rich and light chocolate ganache.
I have shown a very quirky and simple way to decorate your cake without any cake decorating tools or skills. I have used paper straws to make cute candles and placed them on top of my cake.
Here's the RECIPE
CHOCOLATE SPONGE | 500 GRAMS SPONGE:
50 gms dark Chocolate
30 gms vegetable Oil
120 gms milk (whole milk. for vegan, use Almond milk or oat milk)
60 gms warm water
132 gms flour
100 gms caster sugar
10 gms cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
Preheat oven at 180C and bake at 180C for 20-25 mins.
CHOCOLATE GANACHE | 210 GRAMS
140 gms dark chocolate, couverture
70 gms. cream
2 paper straws
small yellow paper
